The Clermont-Ferrand Festival goes international

After 16 previous events, the European Car Advertising Film Festival is changing its name to become the International Car Advertising Film Festival.

The original nature of this event appealed to major French and European agencies from the outset. The Festival’s international category, created six years ago, is receiving a growing number of productions from Brazil, Canada, Japan, USA, Australia, Thailand and Argentina, and others.
Today, the event has earned its status as an International Festival, particularly since an agency as been set up in Beijing and the Festival has taken place for the first time in China.

First Festival events in China

Since 2006, an agency has been set up in Beijing and the Festival has taken place for the first time in China.

The mandate of exclusive representative for the festival in China has been entrusted to the society Beijing Taotie Ad Culture & Communication Center.
The success of the festival in China was confirmed during august 2007. Indeed, two gala evenings have taken place in Beijing and in Canton. The next events will take place this summer. More

Worlwide tour with The Night of the Ad Eaters

Since 2008, the Festival is an integral part of the Night of the Ad Eaters® whose worldwide tour started in March 2008.

Every year, The Night of the Ad Eaters® means 160 shows in more than 40 countries dedicated to showing the advertising work of some sixty nationalities.

Atletico International Car Advertising Film Festival- Spain : Laureate of the Great Prize 2007

The 2007 prize list has been revealed during a gala evening which has taken place on November 30th, 2007, in Clermont-Ferrand.

For this 16th edition, 95 films of 31 agencies were in competition.
The Spanish Agency : Atletico International Advertising, has been rewarded by the 2007 Great Prize for its film "Toys", for SEAT.

The festival opens a representation office in China

Since 2006, the festival have a representation office in Pekin which takes care of :

  • Reinforcing the presence oh the Chinese agency within the framework of Automobile advertising European festival.
  • Promoting the cultural and professional exchanges with the Chinese advertising agency.
  • Contributing to joint initiatives in the area of automobile advertising

Representative proxy is entrusted to Beijing Taotie Ad Culture & Communication Center, which is the only one allowed to develop relations with the Chinese agencies in the name of the festival, to allow the inscription and represent them as part of festival.
